Rebranding of this law firm was the first in the industry to establish legal marketing as an important B2B vehicle. The Firm's initial Firm Overview brochure was so successful that it launched an industry standard for creating Law firm brochures. Branding was extended to all of Simpson Thacher's print publications and their website over a period of years for this Firm.
This extensive Firm rebranding created a template system and visual library for presentation materials, brochures, announcements, newletters and more. Milbank was then able to work internally with these templates to roll out materials for their many offices and departments.
This firm rebranding kicked off with a firm overview brochure and went on to utilize the branding standards of black covers, blue photos and a frieze of employee photos to unify the family of department brochures, booklets, and recruiting materials that followed.
We were brought in early to this large Capital Management firm to create a team and work solution that would develop their intranet on their Sharepoint system. We assisted in organizing content and developed the sitemap, wireframes, and design presentations and oversaw backend development and quality control. Due to security issues, this shows one design option presented for the Homepage only.
The name of the firm is withheld due to the client's request.
Pictured are several spreads from among several years of work. Photography was art directed all over the world by utilizing instant image uploads from my office in New York.
Dechert initially needed a Logo and international stationery system for 26 offices in 14 countries and 5 languages. Each office had 15 newly designed stationery items in either U.S. or ISO-A4 sizes as appropriate, with typing guides created for Word applications. Worldwide printing facilities were dedicated to different continents so that inks, papers, and delivery could be standardized. Over a decade later, I am still maintaining the files for corrections and additions.
This overview brochure reflects the corporate culture, services, and departments of the Firm. The palette was adopted from the newly renovated office.
